Galaxy Tab 2

Galaxy Tab 2   Samsung will be rolling out the next generation of Galaxy Tab in Q3, 2011. It will boast a super AMOLED display and will be called Galaxy Tab 2. It is being said that the next generation of Galaxy Tab will be equipped with 1200 x 600 pixel display. This means more vertical pixels which implies more data can be displayed at a glance.
According to one online analyst, Samsung may be using the Nvidia's Tegra 2 chipset in the Tab 2. Right now, only a tablet called Advent Vega is using the aforementioned chip, but a pile of upmarket devices from Motorola, LG and Samsung will be making use of it. Rumor has it that Nvidia will ultimately convince Samsung to use Nvidia's chip instead of the company's very own, Hummingbird chips.
These are the same chips that are bring used in the Samsung Galaxy S smartphones. For those who do not know, the successor to the Hummingbird family is already in the tunnel and it is called "Orion". This chip will be used as the blueprint for the upcoming Apple A5 processor which will be used in iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5 and iPad 2.
Anyway, until Samsung releases the Tab 2, the first generation Tab will still be regarded as the king of Android tablet. So, should you wait for the second generation? My suggestion would be not to wait for the second generation Galaxy Tab 2 because new Tab is still somewhere like 7 months away from the release. Also, even the current generation is enough powerful to keep you entertained 24x7.
